I kinda expected Emma Frost to get out the dildo when he said Charles had left a hole in him and he hoped Emma could fill it. That was like... the only time I laughed at the most inappropriate moment (usually I was forcing my mouth shut with my hand or just shaking my head). Alright, ok, when Erik mentioned it was ok for Moriah to come closer while Charles lay in his lap, CRYING, that was pretty funny too.

All in all, Charles and Erik were pretty gay (have been for the entire movie for no apparent reason. SOOOO TIGHT) Maybe it must have been all those deep intense and honest conversations over their two chess games or what have you. T_T It is obvious that the movie was meant to be about Magneto's origins, for all the revenge-hunt down-kill storyline. But it was for nought, since there were simply too many characters, probably to lure more viewers to the theatre. Idk. XMen First Class could have been so much more than it actually was. I srsly missed the depth. The actors were never given the chance to really show their talent with the crappy script. Even a teenager could have written better dialogues.

The thing I will do now is pretend X-Men: First Class never happened. Like X3 never happened. It's all a bad dream, lalala.

At least I still have you, Thor-movie. You are one pretty, shiny movie with Shakespearean ambitions, upholding the ideal of 'showing not telling' and trying to find sense in your character's doings. And your actors are adorkable. Yeahhhhh.

I spent so much money on Comic Salon Erlangen this weekend. Oh god. But it was well worth it (Leyendecker artbook, Ian McCaig artbook ♥♥, Batman B/W Collection Vol 1, Eagles of Rome II, first Issue of X-Men: Magneto and Rai bought "Hall of Fame 16", consisting of a few selected Don Rosa comics.) I also got a paper fan with V's face on it. Very classy. I kept running around with it in front of my own face, declaring myself Anon.

In addition, I had a few artists draw sketches into the con-book. (Gilles Mezzomo, Nic Klein, Guido Neukamm, Thierry Gloris&Benoît Dellac, Davide Gianfelice, Patrice Pellerin. Simon Eckert drew me a fantastic viking, still so happy about that one), which was super rad.
I wanted a full sketch by Gianfelice, but no chance. I was lucky enough to get his autograph and a 30sec sketch. Without a number it was almost pointless to try. BUT STILL. ♥_♥
There were so many great artists whose book-signing I missed out on, tho (that or failed to get a number :C) but all in all, it were three great days, if somewhat stressful. A pleasant break from the horrible work that is F&F. Once when we returned on Sunday, it was like we never left in the first place, however. Work work work. :/ I feel like such a failure because of this. So many things I don't know or cannot simply do. What's the point of drawing? A question I've been asking myself lately.

Also, I keep thinking of F&F furry porn. That ain't funny. D: God. What's wrong with me? Must be the heat (and Rai's sexy drawings for the new issue in a more steam-punk-ish style). Here, to banish these horrible images:

Speaking of Watchmen, I saw a Dr Manhattan in Erlangen. Oh my, but he was gorgeous. Asya took a picture of him and I, but IDK if I will ever see it xD ah well.

The air smells so sweet and warm these days, like summer. So very intense and startling. It has become warmer too, I have almost forgotten what the sun feels like on bare skin. I bought a dress at H&M for the occasion, since everything I owned at the time during Erlangen were black jeans and a few woolen black shirts... not very practical at 25°C.

I've started reading books again, like I used to when I was a teenager. Fanfictions are not cutting it anymore (but I still browse the Rorschach Kinkmeme now and then, of course ♥) and nothing better than a new, unread book in your hands. It's such a wonderful feeling to turn a page p: I cannot NOT read. Of course, none of these books are Uni-related. HAHAHA... orz

I was in a pissy mood all day, oh man. Even taking a bath in the evening didn't quench these feelings (especially after learned that I will have to go over some of the illustrations again, correcting stuff... I mean, that's only natural. That's my job, and I get paid for it but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I want it to be over so bad aaah *strampel*) And since I am at my parents', I neither can play PS or computer since all my games are in Leipzig, ja danke. :C

Raistlin is such a sap. Carrying the guilt and memories of his brother all around him even tho HE HATES HOW SENTIMENTAL HE IS ABOUT HIM. I swear he thinks about Caramon all the time. His brother is haunting his very thoughts. He's also extremely obsessing over his betrayal when he left his friends to die in the mealstrom like whoa. Not making this shit up. ALSO HIS COUGH IS GONE AND HE IS SORT-OF-HEALTHY AGAIN. I never imagined Raistlin how I am imagine him during this book (look wise and body-movementwise)... my little boy grew up ;_;

It's so cute when he blushes and goes all "PLZ NO TOUCHY *flinch/jerk*" I know I am breaking some unspoken law here but man, I HOPE HE WILL LOSE HIS VIRGINITY IN THIS BOOK that would make me go all "ROFLHAHAHA how did that happen?" It'd amuse me as much as his dumb, teenage-boyish dreams about being all mighty and super-cool. Ach, the ambitious youth...

But really, omg. This book... Raistlin is actually NORMAL and sort-of nice as a default mood. What happened to you Raistlinnnnnnn. You know you want your brother to make the TEA FOR YOU AND BE ALL BITCHY AGAIN. You already cried about it on page 87! Evil, scary, ruthless dark robed mage my ass! You fool nobody. And stop making friends with Kenders already, damn it.
