Fjórtándi janúar: Gegnum klaufsku braut ég spegil í dag. Nú er ég hrædd við hefnd hans, því að ég er hjátrúarfull. Í nótt mun ég dreyma mjög illa, þessi kann ég segja þegar (eg e nemlig ei lita skræfa.)
14th of January:Through clumsiness I broke (the) mirror today. Now I'm scared of its revenge, because I am superstitious. Tonight I will dream very badly, I can already tell that. (norw.: Because I'm a small scaredy cat)

I discovered some nice flowers links (f.ex. this) while trying to figure out certain grammatical phrases. It's great fun, but also breaking my brain slowly but certainly FML I need to find me some Icelandic pal, srsly. AND a good dictionary, Langenscheidt&Inet just don't cut it. Since I'm going to do this everyday from now on (I know, exciting), ....does anyone want some general gramm. info (i.e. hefnd f (-ar/-ir) etc.)?

Man... I'm still getting better. Oh well, I'll keep trying. I'd love to help you with your conundrum, but I only have Old Norse stuff. :-/ It's all Old Norse --> English which is annoying because sometimes I'd like to double check if I guessed correctly with English --> Old Norse. Have you tried going to Foreign Friends? It's an LJ community where people get to have e-pen pals from a lot of different places. Maybe there's someone who's from Iceland on there.
