I can't believe the books by Ruth Mazo Karras are all borrowed. I'll probably have to buy them, now. Hrm. That aside, I think I broke a rib or two, but at least a vortex when carrying all the books from the library back home. Good thing I'm getting MTs now to resurrect my backmuscles. Snap, there goes the trigger point, heh :9

Laura had the great idea, in order to practice more efficiently, to write down 3senteces in Icelandic each day. A journal, so to speak. I'm rather sure there are a lot of mistakes in there, but at least it forces me to look up vocabulary and grammar and as long as I will get the general hang of it... OTL

Tólfti janúar: Fyrirlesturinn fór ekki svo vel. Ég stamaði dálítið vegna geðshræringarinnar og kunni ekki beita mig. Siðan um kvöldið byrjaði ég á/með að (??) teikna eitt Thief-fanart.
Þrettándi janúar: Ég svaf þangað til inn í siðdegið. Þetta koddi er bara betri. Stundum óskaði ég, að ég aldrei ætti að fara á fætur.

I know I still owe a couple of you some drawings and I assure you, I am working on it ò_ó/ These days there are only three things on my mind, actually. Final exams, drawing (Watchmen) and moving to Leipzig in March/April. Laura and I decided to devise a plan of action that will get us through the last exams and help us prepare accordingly. Lets see what comes of it. Luckily, with this rather bright looking prospect of being DONE and moving and then having time and opportunity to draw 24/7, my depressive inclinations have vanished over the holidays (and, admittedly, the heavy snowfall is part of the reason, as well). Even my eye mostly ceased twitching...
Man, I can't wait to furnish the flat with Rai (it's an Altbauwohnung with tiled coal stoves). Aaaaaah~! 2010 is going to be a great year, the horoscope says so. It might have just begun, yet it already feels like more of a success than 2009. 2009 sucked.

Oh, and even if somewhat belated: Happy new year!
